Job Description & Responsibilities
As an Engineer – Quality, you will:
- Understand and interpret engineering drawings with minimal technical assistance.
- Prepare daily quality reports and address discrepancies during quality checks.
- Work independently in shifts while ensuring adherence to Rambøll’s Code of Conduct (CoC).
- Conduct root-cause analysis to address and resolve quality issues.
- Oversee raw material testing, sampling, and partner quality lab processes.
- Ensure no defective parts are dispatched from the manufacturing location.
- Provide quality checks on telecom towers manufactured at partner locations.
Key Skills and Competencies
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in using measuring instruments.
- Basic knowledge of welding techniques and galvanizing processes (preferred).
- Ability to read engineering drawings and use CAD software.
Personal Attributes:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong listening and communication skills in English, Hindi, and Tamil.
- Willingness to relocate, travel, and work in remote locations.
- Ability to work in shifts.
