Job Overview:

The Mechanical Design Engineer at QuEST Global will be responsible for the design and development of hydraulic integration components, particularly focusing on 3D modeling and component integration. The role requires hands-on experience with piping, sheet metals, hydraulic components, and various manufacturing and assembly processes.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design & Development: Create 3D models of hydraulic components such as piping, hose, and tube assemblies, with an understanding of sheet metal designs.
  • Hydraulic Component Expertise: Work with hydraulic components like pumps, cylinders, motors, and valves.
  • Standards & Compliance: Apply knowledge of connections and standards, including ISO and SAE.
  • Schematic Reading: Understand and interpret hydraulic schematics.
  • Collaboration: Effectively communicate and coordinate with internal teams for project alignment.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Proficiency in 3D modeling (with Creo) for piping, sheet metals, and assembly.
  • Familiarity with PLM tools.
  • Knowledge of hose & tube assembly manufacturing and assembly processes.
  • Experience with hydraulic components and system integration.
  • Strong understanding of connection standards such as ISO and SAE.
  • Communication and coordination skills for effective teamwork.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Diploma, Bachelor’s, or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in mechanical design engineering.
  • Proficient in Creo software, including simulations, mechanisms, sheet metal, piping, and assembly.
