Position – Technical Publication Engineer

  • Diploma or Graduate in Mechanical Engineering with a good academic record
  • Good understanding of system/component overhaul and maintenance techniques. Understanding of product disassembly/assembly techniques.
  • Good technical writing skills in English, ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, Technical Specifications, other engineering data related to components and systems maintenance.
  • Must be able to transform the engineering content into effective maintenance instruction.
  • Experience in IsoDraw, Tech illustrator, Adobe illustrator or various illustration tools
  • Familiar with CAD Tools and no design skills are required, but, able to use these tools in order to understand the customer supplied inputs
  • Good knowledge of ATA/S1000D standards related to illustrations

Position – Lab Test Engineer

Job description

  • Candidate should have qualifications in BE -Mechanical or Mechatronics Or Diploma in Mechanical with 4 to 8+ years of experience in mechanical Design, Engine lab testing, and Fixture design for Engine/Structural components.
  • Should have hands-on experience generating concepts, fixtures, analyzing the designed fixtures for robustness and life expected using hand calculations, or using analysis tools as per test plan.
  • Should be proficient in the usage of Unigraphics (CAD)
  • Should have good experience in the development of Test set up or Rigs using standard Toll Gate Review & FMEA Process.
  • Experience in execution of the test, collect the test data for validation, create test reports, Update to the stakeholders.
  • Sound knowledge of using various Instruments (strain gauges, accelerometers, displacement, Thermocouples, sensors, etc) with hands-on experiences instrumenting them, acquiring and processing of data Collected using any systems viz. LMS, HBM, National Instruments, etc
  • Very good knowledge of GD & T, Materials & Manufacturing process with experience in Inspection methodologies.

Will be responsible for complete operations of lab which includes Mechanical and Electrical labs

Roles & Responsibilities

Management

  • Complete ownership on the assigned test requests
  • Will be a single point of contact between customer point of contact and team supporting labs
  • Be very good at lab management in terms of understanding the scope of each test request

  • Availability of rigs, materials/space planning
  • Coordination with external vendors/labs if tests to be executed either partially or fully

  • Anticipate any risks in terms of test requests execution and plans to contain the risk and provide timely communications on significant issues or developments
  • Have daily huddle with all lab engineers and lab technicians
  • Coordinate with customer engineering and lab in charge to exchange required information on test requests
  • Planning the spares & material needed for testing, interacting, and negotiating with Vendors for manufacturing the fixtures.
  • Understanding contract management & negotiation skills
  • Should plan for the deployment of resource with the right skill set and in right timelines incase of attrition

Technical

  • Should have prior expertise in setting up a new electrical /mechanical lab for multi-testing to meet global specifications and covering all aspects of EHS and getting accreditation from UL.
  • Should be able to define test methodology for the system, subsystem, and component-level testing
  • Prepare and present material related to lab test requests based on requirements of test request and per instructions received from a customer point of contact
  • International specifications, regulatory requirements, approval, and certification processes ( Indian Standards, IEC Specifications, UL, CCC).
  • Understanding of and liaison with independent certifying bodies and laboratories.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead a rail vehicle development project in Electrical engineering
  • Active in the area of ​​Metro and regional trains
  • Good knowledge on drive technologies
  • Closely work with the design managers of the various systems (e.g. air conditioning, doors, passenger information systems, etc.) and take into account requirements from the customer scope document and plan a technical estimation.
  • Project planning

Qualification
