Position – Quality Specialist

Location – Pune, Maharashtra
Exp. – 3 to 5 years
Job description
- Develop test cases and test plans and performs software testing activities
- Report software defects and track quality metrics such as defect counts and test coverage
- Work alongside Pos to establish Key Performance Indicators and measures for the product
- Define Performance test that reflects real-world Personas and customer usage
- Review existing framework and enhance it to provide repeatable and consistent results
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engg or Computer Science.
- 3- 5 years of experience in software quality assurance, software development, software technical support, or related field
- Knowledge of software development or quality assurance methodologies and terminology
- Experience in PLM Domain is desirable.
- Exposure to any Quality Management Systems or web-based applications like PDM/PLM would be an advantage
- Experience in automated testing, software programming, or software scripting would be an advantage. Experience with Selenium for automation would be an added advantage.
- Flexible, adaptable, and willing to learn new technologies
- Experience using Windows or UNIX operating systems
- Experience in JAVA Programming
- Working knowledge of Web Servers, Servlet Engines, Databases and LDAP as they relate to web applications is beneficial
- Strong written and spoken English communication skills
- Skilled in communicating with a globally distributed team compromising cross-functional team members such as product managers, software engineers, and technical support engineers.
