Job description

  • To look after day-to-day maintenance of equipment and operations of utilities in shifts.
  • Coordination with the Production Team in shifts to solve any maintenance/utility problems.
  • Maintaining the Log Book/ records as per Departmental SOP,s
  • Delegation of work to workmen as per planning attending to breakdown jobs.
  • Preparation of overtime, daily attendance of the shift employees and sending it to time office.
  • Documentation of work orders as prescribed.
  • Taking charge of the previous shift engineer and going through the Log Book.
  • Ensuring the completion of the breakdown, planned jobs and cross-verifying the same maintaining the Facilities as per SOP’s.
  • Report any incident/accident/ near miss/ illness to the superiors and further CAPA activities.
  • Identify unsafe conditions and unsafe acts and report to superiors.
  • Responsible for calibration schedule monitoring /calibrations of safety valves, RD, periodical validations, and others to maintain online.
  • Should have knowledge on Good Documentation Practises (GDP) and be responsible for document preparation, records maintenance/log book maintaining
  • Responsible for and any other job as may be assigned to you from time to time.
  • To comply all statutory, safety , EHS requirements
  • Support during investigations /Report preparation incidents/accidents/ near miss (EHS)
  • Responsible for spares management /PR raise in SAP.
  • Responsible for supporting Projects /modification activities in plants.
  • Responsible for PM activities of equipment along with cross-functional Team.
  • Preparation and support for Documents like SOP/Protocols/change control / QRA.
  • Tracking of Complaints and closures, Tracking of SAP notifications.
