Job Description

• Ability to lead in a Complex, non-hierarchical collaborative, Organization
• Will be influencing R&D/I2M Managers at Category, Business, and Cluster Level in Philips
• Establishes strong collaboration with Systems Engineering Centre of Excellence and Software Engineering Centre of Excellence, teaming up to maximize the impact
• Is able to drive a major change management program across Businesses, changing the way of working in disciplines that have a long and proud history
• Establishes and inspires collaboration such that experts also contribute to Design for Serviceability
• Has Experience and Affinity with various engineering disciplines and how they work: systems engineering/design, architects, software engineering, hardware, and mechanical engineering
• Has the attitude to do solid work with the businesses.
• Delivers on commitment – businesses must be able to count on the deliveries of DfS.
• Ability to convince the leadership of value, be demanding, finding commitment in management, realistic, delivers on commitment, seeks opportunities, chases, never gives up, objective, transparent

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technical discipline (electrical, mechanical, software, etc.)
• 15+ years of relevant working experience, including all aspects of project/program development and execution, demonstrating an outstanding record of project management success, both in results achieved and in use of the professional methodology
• Experience of implementing projects in multi-discipline areas in accordance with agreed conditions on specification, time, cost and staffing
• Professional knowledge of project management methods and estimation techniques (resources, time and risks) for the relevant technical/functional discipline
• Have a pragmatic, creative, flexible attitude with a result-driven, can-do mentality;
• Good command of the English language both orally and in writing;
