In this role, you have the opportunity to modify, design, develop and maintain MR, Ultra Sound, Cathlabs, CT, and realization of a range of products in such a way that future products options and features can be realized with acceptable effects for the earlier products. You are responsible for identifying appropriate technologies for overall system, sub-system and component levels. You will ensure that your design is consistent with the higher level architecture and requirements

You are responsible for
  • Capturing and understanding Requirements, Design Specification, implementation of same along with testing / verification process.
  • Integration of her/his module/sub-system in accordance with the higher-level architectural Requirements and Design specifications, easy to maintain, extendible (components and modules) and re-usable.
  • Creating conceptual design as well as converting those ideas into 3D models and drawings.
  • Ensuring that the proposed design has the safety, reliability and quality features built in.
  • Ensuring that the design meets the performance, quality, and cost criteria.
  • Develop concept and feasibility 3D models using CAD,
  • Exceptionally good hands-on experience in 3D modeling and drafting using SolidWorks and Creo.
  • Apply GD&T and perform Tolerance stack-up analysis for components/Sub-system.
  • Conduct and participate in FMEA / DFMEA
  • Well versed with DFM for Metal as well as Plastic parts.
  • Perform hand calculations to support the design and sound knowledge of Strength of Materials
  • Ensures that there is proper documentation per standards for the developed design.
  • Ensures that his design modules meet the product certification requirements.
  • Adheres to project deliverable commitments.
  • Keeps abreast of technical developments in own field through study of literature and technical contacts.
  • Maintains product and company reputation by complying with country specific regulations.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience.
  • Bachelor’s in mechanical engineering with 2-5 years’ experience.
  • Exceptionally good hands on in 3D CAD tools – SolidWorks and CREO.
  • Knowledge/ Firsthand in thermal, FEA is a plus.
  • Hands on MS Office, formulae based excel calculations and power point presentations.
  • Knowledge of FDA (ISO 13485, IS014971) and IEC Standards (e.g. 60601) is a plus.
  • Disciplined team worker, ability to work independently.
  • Ability to present ideas and to convince project team members.
  • Be structured and self-organized.
  • Positive ‘can do’ attitude.
  • Quality mindset in analysis and documentation
  • Excellent communication, both verbal and written
