Position – CAD Design Engineer

Job description

  • Develop constructive solutions for products within the framework of specified concepts, and general guidelines or develop, if necessary, together with others to further develop and optimize.
  • Integration of systems into the customer’s production lines (pipeline planning).
  • Develop, evaluate, and optimize solutions considering functional, material, manufacturing, and economic aspects, evaluate them, and coordinate them with the relevant departments.
  • Develop designs ready for detailing, considering the specified production technology, given materials and technical standards and technical standards and coordinate them with the responsible departments.
  • Take over constructive examinations according to specification, and select/modify elements.
  • Elaborate and coordinate design solutions as drafts.
  • Modifications and improvements to filtration systems, taking into account the hygienic design methodology.
  • Creating concepts within the set IT strategy and architecture concepts in cooperation with the departments (hard-/software including networks, databases, use of operating systems, etc. ). The systems consist of several networked subsystems, which are in strongly dependent on each other.
  • Consideration of the development of the IT market as well as the System requirements of the area and integration capability into the overall system (additional modules and additional software for CAD).
  • Check the implemented solutions for functionality. Carry out system generation, introduce the system into introduce the system into operation, or support the introduction.
  • Planning and installation of actual end devices such as PC workstations, comparable devices components and networks, and associated software through to commissioning, taking into account operational standards, if necessary, at the user’s workstation.
  • Ensure user support during introduction and operation (e.g., pass on innovations in CAD without the need for external training for the employees).

Qualifications/Education:

  • B.E/B.Tech (Food & Beverage or Design or Mechanical).
  • 3-5 years of experience in Design (Drawing) engineering of systems manufacturing including large-scale and complex projects.
  • Certification in CAD design
  • Experience of working with outside subcontractors including mechanical fabricators.
  • Proven track record of having executed various complex large-scale projects within the DSP area of the Food and Beverage industry.
  • Knowledge in plant engineering / desirable piping systems
  • Knowledge of SAP MM (&PS)
  • Detailed knowledge in Autocad Inventor, VAULT
  • Knowledge in design and visualization of CAD models (Autodesk Inventor/ Navisworks).
  • Ability to communicate effectively on complex technical / engineering issues at the highest level. Pall internal as well as with vendors and customers.
  • Good communication in English and proficiency in Hindi/Marathi/German will be an added advantage
