Job description
- Responsible for the design and development of mechanical components of the elevator System.
- Responsible for the qualification of mechanical components/assemblies at the mechanical laboratory and at the test hoistway.
- Responsible for participating and preparing component/Subsystem level Test Evaluation Master Plan (TEMP), preparing the Test Plan, and carrying out testing.
- Ensure new/modified design meets the Otis standard requirement and local code requirement.
- Responsible for executing cost reduction projects and ensuring the timely release of projects. To release standard procedures for component test fixtures.
- Responsible for Promoting and Maintaining safe Work Practices and following the Cardinal Rules all the time.
- Strong focus on timely resolution of any escapes reported from the field.
- To carry out RRCA and provide MP solution.
