Job description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Update Quality Issues in daily Production Meetings and drive, support for actions
- Analysis of Customer & Internal Complaints along with CFT
- Raise Q alerts and conduct Q moments for Quality Issues
- Deviation Request, Rework, Scrap, Warranty Order Punching On-Time
- Actively participate in Sampling & Testing for Q inspections
- Generate and share Q inspection reports to customers, and OEMs as per requirements
- Handling of Inspection instruments and gauges – Calo, XRF, Hardness Tester, Vernier, etc.
- Perform Quality Control Inspections and Tests – Hardness, Adhesion, Coating Thickness etc.
- Conduct Process & Product Audits and report the results
- Support QM in driving Continual Improvement Projects (3 1 projects, 1-1-1 improvements)
- Drive corrective and preventive actions for the Q issues and audit non-conformities
- Monitor the Q page information to meet customer requirements
- Monitor calibration of MMD and ensure compliance
- Authorize to Blocking / Quarantine the batches/parts if Quality deviations observed and release based on decisions
Required education, experience, and knowledge:
- Diploma (Mechanical, Metallurgy)
- Knowledge of Testing Equipment – Coating Thickness measurement, Hardness Tester, Adhesion Test
- Experience of the Coating Industry
- Hand-on experience in Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
Required skills & expertise:
- Quality Tools Knowledge
- Calibration of Instruments & Gauges
- Knowledge of Hardness Testing, Adhesion Test, Thickness Test
