Position – Engineer – Production

Job description
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Execution of production plan – Batch preparation and exchange as per the plan , communication with shift leaders (shift relieving), Allocation of jobs in the respective shift,.
- Plan & execute fixture maintenance.
- Ensure processes are inline with standards (QMS, EMS,Internal operation standards).
- Preventive maintenance of coaters, cleaning machines, Blasting machines, and stripping equipment.
- Identify training needs of shift team members, plan and conduct training, Evaluate the effectiveness of the training. Inform PM on trainings out of his scope.
- Communicate to service and plant manager in case of machine troubles/errors.
- Adhere and ensure everyone in the department follows to all safety requirements.
- Involve, suggest and implement HSE ,5S, OOE.
- Stock management & Co-ordinate for required consumables and spares with plant manager.
- Oversee failures and be involved in the implementation of preventive actions & corrective actions for internal and external complaints.
- Block nonconforming equipments and parts.
- Follow applicable QMS requirements
Required education, experience, and knowledge:
- University degree/diploma in science/ engineering.
- Minimum 2 years experience as shift lead or engineer in the mechanical/service industry.
- Knowledge of PVD/CVD coating technology is recommended.
Required skills & expertise:
- Customer-oriented approach.
- Experienced in managing teams of 6 -10.
- Good English communication and team-building skills
- Expertise in problem-solving techniques
- Open and positive mindset
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications and basic computers.
- Able to operate ERP system
