Job description

Roles and Responsibilities

• Communicates directly with the Production department to coordinate maintenance and repair work in process areas.
• Helps the Production team in preventive maintenance activities as and when required.
• Assists team in performing maintenance and repairs.
• Keep record of maintenance in electronic/written method as applicable.
• Co-ordination with Production team for Plant Preventive Maintenance Schedule and Planning of the execution of same schedule.
• Reporting of non-conformities/operation/Safety Deviations if any in the Operation of Utility and during Maintenance of Plant Equipment.
• Inventory management for spares and consumables.
• Co-ordination of Collection of all the Utility Consumption in the various Plants for daily reporting and Record.
• Support to Plant operation team for smooth Production.
• Maintains a clean and safe work environment during Maintenance activities by following GMP guidelines and good housekeeping practices.
• Documenting and Recording information in written or electronic form.
• Communicating with contractor Supervisors, Peers, Subordinates and providing information by telephone, written form, e-mail, or in person.
• Co-ordination with Team for FL Tagging according to NZ Standard Tagging Philosophy for complete Plant Equipment’s
• Implementation of corrective action for Zeal, Safety and GMP audit points / suggestions in the department
• Monitoring and reporting of all incidents (spills, near misses, accidents)
• Co-ordination with team for Quality Management System and EHS documents and maintaining in My MS.
• Participate in yield optimization activities.
• Initiates and participates in projects that improve efficiency and/or reduce operating costs.
• Participating in internal/external Workshops to update professional and technical knowledge
• Supports in implementation of Cost, Water and Energy savings projects
• Involve in action plan preparation to achieve department goals.

Basic Qualifications:

• Should be Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 10 Years of experience in process plant repair and Maintenance.
• Reporting lines: Manager- Maintenance
