Job description
JD for Territory Head/Sales Engineer
- Regular visits to customers who are all in his respective geographical territory for direct and dealer/distributor customers and upload the visit reports through C4C on daily basis.
- Responsible for respective territory Order Booking/Payment collections / Sales/Government tax related forms collection for the regular products of the company throughout the year and as per the Budget for Super Abrasive and Traded Products.
- Searching for new customers/Cold calls who could benefit from our products in a designated territory.
- Establishing new relationships along with maintaining existing relationships with customers at all levels from Manufacturing/ME/Purchase/Finance/Tooling etc., departments
- Mapping of Applications (product wise/value wise) and Products at micro level from every customer in his respective territory and upload the Budget figures through sales conference formats/C4C /CRM.
- Managing and interpreting customer requirements according to applications by collecting application details/Drawings/CSP/Samples to till getting the order from customers.
- Co-ordinating on the existing products trials with Product Management team/Mfg. team by offering after-sales support services like prove outs of the products to customer satisfaction level along with seminars/melas/ Road shows/Local exhibitions etc.,
- Attending Customer Complaints within 24 hrs time and study on the same to conclude on taking it forward of CCs for CAPA.
- Spending more and more time in the shop floor of the customer place to study and focus on their requirements based on their forecast.
- Keeping an eye on the micro level understanding of competition at each customer place
