Job description

We are currently looking for a Graduate Engineer to join our Industry Team in Chennai. This role will play a pivotal role in coordination of key stakeholders both internally and externally on projects as well as input to the successful delivery of those projects.

The graduate engineer will work closely with and be mentored by senior design engineers. We are seeking a self- motivated and versatile person who will fit into our team of talented professionals.

Candidate Specification

• Qualified B.E / M.E in Mechanical Engineering, preferably in design of Piping domain in Engineering Consultancy organization
• Preparation of detailed design reports/specifications/component datasheets, engineering calculations
• Acquainted with the working of a 3D environment.
• Knowledge of software such as AutoCAD and MS Office
• Sound knowledge of piping-related ASME and API code and concepts, can comprehend the P&IDs, hooks, etc for chemical plants.
• Have a good logical mind and background.
• Ability to work within a team.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, & Design software desirable.
• Exceptional communication skills and ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Ability to work on own initiative
