Your Job

Responsible for providing engineering support to the PSBU High power projects.

Our Team

  • Engineering support for NPDs, MODs, Standard Product Options, and Legacy product maintenance / Technical Support Projects.
  • Responsible for planning and executing assigned projects and achieving set targets.
  • Work with customers, product managers, and sales to develop solutions to meet Voice of Customer (VOC).
  • Follow the Product Development Process (PDP), collaborate with peers, Product Management,
  • Engineering Groups, Manufacturing Plants, Advanced Quality Planning (AQP), Application Tooling and Reliability Engineering.
  • Interact with CFT to coordinate and execute multiple projects at the same time.
  • Lead engineering efforts to meet customer and manufacturing requirements.
  • Full design cycle responsibility including concept generation, detailed engineering models, drawings, design reviews, application for GD&T, manufacturing feasibility study, FMEA reviews, DVP & R, and release.
  • Evaluate and determine product and application specifications.
  • Responsible for self-planning of work, based on organizational priorities by closely working with supervisor.
  • Understand, aim, and achieve organization/department/self-goals.
  • Learn MBM, and demonstrate/implement what you learn.
  • Responsible for engineering change management (ECR’s and ECN’s)

What You Will Do

  • Experience in Product Design & Development (knowledge of complete PLM cycle)
  • Experience designing products with Molded, Stamped, and Plated components.
  • NX CAD experience
  • Strong and diverse technical skills
  • Experience with high power/high voltage systems
  • Experience with electrical connectors, cable assemblies and electronic components
  • Knowledge of SAP Material Master/BOM loading process
  • FEA experience including thermal modeling.
  • Ability to develop and meet project schedules, along with contingency plans.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze information and solve problems.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain collaboration, smooth teamwork, and communication.
  • Understanding of Agile work methodology (Scrum work methodology) 

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

EDUCATION:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering
EXPERIENCE:
  • 2 – 4 Years of Experience
