Support on Standard product options, Legacy product maintenance / Sustenance engineering, product design transfers, product modifications, new product support, project management as applicable
Our Team
Product Management, Project Management, Manufacturing engineering (Die Design, Mold Design, Assembly Tooling), Process Engineer All PSBU manufacturing plants (includes purchase, planning, tool design, process engineering, quality), Product Management, AQP, GSM, Application tooling, Lab etc. Customers, Vendors and Sub Contractors
What You Will Do
- Responsible for working on SPOs, Legacy product maintenance/technical support projects on legacy products, new product support. With support from the supervisor working on product modifications /new products
- Follow PDP process. Work collaboratively with Peers, supervisors, PM’s, other engineering groups manufacturing plants, application tooling groups and Lab.
- Responsible for understanding and working towards meeting VOC, by closely working with product management
- Facilitate and conduct conceptual reviews, DFM reviews, DFMEA/PFMEA reviews, Design reviews, phase gate reviews, etc.
- Responsible for creating models, drawings, product specifications, DVPR, test summary
- In-depth understanding of assigned product families (SD, E, PK, PS, AS, TS, etc.)
- Responsible for design changes (ECR’s and ECN’s)
- Responsible for interacting with global manufacturing plants, reviewing inspection reports and providing disposition.
- Understand, aim and achieve organization / department /self goals.
- Show value creation, productivity improvement and continual improvements
- Responsible for working on CAD tools like NX/Teamcenter, Engineering change tools – SAP, presentation tools – PowerPoint, analytic tools – Microsoft excel etc.
- Responsible for self-planning of work based on organizational priorities by closely working with the supervisor
- Imbibe quality in every action/work performed. 14. Come up with Innovative ideas / product suggestion
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- B.E (Graduate in Mechanical Engineering)
What Will Put You Ahead
- Design of electromechanical products such as connectors or switches is preferred Knowledge of connector design, development, and manufacturing process is preferable
