SRG is looking for a CAD Engineer to join our team in Molex office Bengaluru !
You will be a part of Engineering team in India and support the R&D centres in Spain, North America, Mexico, and China-Suzhou.

What You Will Do
- Design new products and modify the existing ones (mainly made by plastic like front grilles, Body Side Moulding, Rear Spoilers, TGH, etc) using CAD software (CATIA V5). Design from cradle to grave.
- Give support to the engineering team around the globe to ensure product quality fulfilling the Customer and Internal specifications in the timing defined.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in design practices, processes, and tools to enhance team efficiency and product quality. Meet and understand all project Timing requirements and all customer deliverables.
- Ability to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the goals of the business unit’s / plant,
Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/Automobile engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of work experience in the automotive industry (Exterior and Interior Trims)
- Strong proficiency in CAD tools like CATIA.
- Previous knowledge in the product development and design process, manufacturing engineering, plastic moulding, and process improvement.
- Coordination, execution, monitoring, and solution of technical problems in projects.
- English Language skills required. Fluent in both spoken and written English
What Will Put You Ahead
- Proficient in Catia V5, GSD, Assembly Design and parametric Solid Part Modelling a must.
- Proficient at creating complex parts and assemblies.
- As SRG Global is using Teamcenter (Siemens) to control the CAD revisions, the knowledge using that system is a plus.
- Understanding of GD&T and locator schemes.
- Class A surface development experience is added advantage. Knowledge in OEM’s PLM data exchange systems is a plus.
- UG/NX experience is an added advantage.
- Experience in the design of automotive exterior trim components is preferred.
- Ability to use experience and judgment to plan and accomplish the goals of the business unit’s, plant, and corporation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to deal effectively with all levels of management.
- Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point is a plus.
