Job description

Introduction

We are seeking a senior engineer to join our Customer order Engineering team. You will be responsible for . Lead the design, and development hydro cyclones to meet project requirements, which involves Conceptualizing, modeling, and creating detailed drawings for hydrocyclones while coordinating efforts across teams—Sales, Order Management, Planning, Quality, Purchasing, Assembly, and Product Development—to ensure their timely and successful completion of projects. In this position, you will report to COE Manager India.

Team you belong to

You will join a team of Customer order Engineering dedicated to providing customizing engineering solutions based on specific customer requirements or orders. We are currently working on Hydro cyclone projects and COE will get a task to conceptualize & draft the layout, the assembly drawing for assembly/commission and detail part drawings for manufacture parts.

We work closely with internal // external stakeholders, such as market area, program management, purchase,quality, planning & manufacturing. The members in our team are located in USA, Sweden & India.

What you’ll do

• Conceptualizing of hydro cyclone cluster based on customer requirements.
• Creates General Arrangements for customers & manufacturing drawings, based on standard designs and calculations.
• Assisting with problems regarding assembly or parts incorrectly fabricated etc.
• Performs/initiates basic strength evaluations/calculations.
• Conduct the design reviews with the CFT & global team.
• Identifies needs for design changes from production requirements as well as quality and procurement needs.
• Lead the team of 4-5 members & maintain a positive attitude, promote teamwork, and exhibit in a professional manner with customers and co-workers.
• Establish continuous improvement work with contributions from the entire team.

Who you are

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering with a relevant focus area on Design Engineering.
• Experience in the use of 2D Drafting and 3D CAD modeling tools.
• Experience in designing using standard machine elements and construction steel materials.
• Experience in structural design with relevant knowledge of Indian and international standards.
• Experience of Hydro cyclone, castings, and welded design rubber lined parts is a plus.
