Position – GAT Conversion – Interior Trims

Job description
Responsibilities:
- Execute the Design & Development of Interior parts with the supplier to secure Project milestones.
- Prepare and monitor the timeline for part development with the supplier.
- Collaboration with different cross-functional teams (Design, Purchasing, Quality, Production, Controlling) to meet quality, assembly & functional requirements.
- Close coordination with the supplier for functional development and product maturity.
- Execution of Engineering Change requests as per project requirements
Qualifications – Internal
Mandatory skills & experience:
- 03 – 08 years of relevant experience in the design & development of automotive Interior parts.
- Product knowledge of automotive Interior.
- Command on design considerations of Plastic & Sheet metal parts.
- Experience in full product life cycle management spanning from Concept generation, Design-Development, Validation (as per global regulation), Launch execution to Post-production support.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams & steer suppliers.
- Strong practitioner of basic engineering processes, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Additional skills & experience:
- Working Experience in UG NX
- International work experience
- German linguistic skills
- Development experience in Mercedes-Benz or similar products
Qualifications:
Education
- Graduate in Mechanical Engineering
- No of years: 0-2 years
