Position – R-D Engineer II

Job description

• The R&D Engineer II is responsible for supporting the Product Development Team with the application of prediction engineering principles to new product design.
• Should perform engineering calculations and analysis to improve/validate product designs.
• Should Run Finite Element Analysis, Mechanism Design, and Analysis, Mold Flow, etc to validate product designs
• Perform Tolerance Stacks applying GD&T.
• Generate engineering drawings for manufacturing, complying with ASME standards.
• Should be able to work on prototyping, vendor relations.
• Should be able to design plastic and metal components considering DFM, DFA, and Cost.
• Should be able to understand design problems and bring up an optimal workable solution
• The candidate must be able to communicate well with cross-functional team members, be able to efficiently collaborate with team members to achieve project goals, and contribute positively to the engineering community.

Must Have :

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering with 5 to 7 years of design experience.
• Hands-on CAD systems such as Creo – Expert level (Drafting & Modelling) as well as data management systems such as Windchill, Creo Simulation, and Creo Mechanism.
• Proficient in Concept Development, Prototyping, and Benchmark Testing
• Good Verbal Communications to interact with global partners.
