CAD : Proe/Creo , Catia & NX.
Competencies- Solid Modelling, Assembly modeling, drafting, GD&T
Knowledge of Driveline/Axle, casting, forging, sheet metal, and standards.
Knowledge of various manufacturing processes.
Customer interaction, problem-solving capacity.
MS-office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Job Description / Responsibilities
- must be capable of designing and comprehending workflow (EWO, SR, etc.) on the AWC Teamcenter PLM system.
- root cause investigation of technical difficulties, assist and lead
- During all development phases, including pre-sourcing, vehicle validation, product validation, vehicle start of production (SOP), and post-SOP, offer technical assistance to the customer.
- Inform internal functions of any technical and development concerns as necessary. Management of Programs, Sales, Manufacturing, Quality, Warranties, and Engineering
- Making and delivering technical presentations (Customer and Dana internal)
- Inform Dana’s internal departments, such as Program Management, Sales, Quality, Warranty, and Engineering Management, of any engineering and development difficulties as necessary.
- NX, CATIA V5, and Creo’s working knowledge are necessary.
- comprehensive knowledge of ASME Y 14.5, GD&T, and stack-ups
- It is necessary to comprehend the materials, heat treatment, and driveshaft assembly processes.
- Working understanding of casting, forging, stamping, sheet metal, and welding operations is required; familiarity with plastic injection molding will be advantageous.
- Must be capable of performing driveline-related design and structural calculations.
