Job Overview:

• Assist in the preparation of detailed drawings and deliverables of high technical quality and of consistent presentation ensuring clarity and constructability.
• Gain experience in the following work areas:
• Design
• 2D drafting
• 3D drafting and/or model creation
• Develop basic technical skills to complete assigned work.
• The Principal/ Senior Designer appraised of all activities, progress and concerns

RESPONSIBILITIES

Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Become fully familiar with the Project Scope of Work, specifications, schedule, and inter-discipline requirements
• Assist in developing Plant Design and 3D Modelling and discipline under close supervision of senior designer
• Uses communication skills to exchange ideas and information effectively
• Applies basic analytical skills, and operational procedures to perform straightforward activities
• Uses standard operating procedures to guide own work and solve standard problems

QUALIFICATIONS

Essential Qualifications and Education:

• Entry level to less than 3 years drafting and/or design.
• High School graduate with a diploma in Mechanical Design, or Drafting in a related discipline or equivalent experience.
• Detailed knowledge of 2D CAD and /or other drafting software.
• Proactive and willing to learn
• Flexible for business traveling/assignments
