Job Overview
As an Associate Mechanical Engineer, you will work with a team to support various stages of energy projects by following established procedures and industry standards. You will receive mentorship and guidance as you tackle design tasks, prepare calculations, and assist with equipment specifications.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in mechanical engineering tasks across project stages, including detailed design, calculations, and analysis.
- Prepare accurate and detailed design reports, procedures, and data sheets.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to project quality, documentation, and deadlines.
- Apply project-specific standards and international codes for equipment design, testing, and safety.
- Provide support in reviewing vendor documents, drawings, and inspection procedures.
- Assist in evaluating technical and commercial aspects of bids with Mechanical Engineers and Buyers.
Qualifications and Skills
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering; Master’s Degree preferred.
- Experience: 0-3 years in Oil and Gas.
- Technical Skills: Understanding of industry standards, design, and analysis methods relevant to static, rotating, and special equipment.
- Soft Skills:
- Proficiency in English (B2 Level).
- Team-oriented, quality-conscious, and schedule-driven.
- Adaptable and able to support increased team workloads.
