Role Overview
As a Mechanical Designer, you will be responsible for designing automation projects and ensuring efficient material handling systems, storage solutions, and more. Your expertise in conceptualization, design optimization, and use of advanced CAD tools will contribute significantly to Maruti Suzuki’s innovative engineering projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Automation Project Design:
- Conceptualize and design material handling equipment and storage systems.
- Technical Expertise:
- Conduct costing, calculations, analysis, and detailed designing.
- Select appropriate parts and optimize cycle times and manufacturing processes.
- Software Proficiency:
- Utilize 3D CAD design software such as Solid Edge and UG for advanced modeling.
- Work with analysis software and ensure software upgrades are implemented effectively.
- Standardization & Cost Optimization:
- Develop standardization protocols to optimize project costs and enhance efficiency.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (3-6 years) in mechanical design and automation projects.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD design and analysis software.
- Strong skills in cost analysis, cycle time reduction, and manufacturing processes.
