Position – Production Planning/Procurement Engineer

Production Planning Responsibilities
- Knowledge for Production Planning, Procurement & Vendor development
- Uploading the sales plan & synchronisation with Production plan in SAP
- Ensuring that right stock is being made available at all warehouses as per plan.
- Ensure the invoicing to be done within SLA
- To prepare unit wise & SKU wise monthly production plan, send to production for validation & track the Plan Vs Actual.
- To minimize variances in target vs actual of FG & raw material inventory.
- To minimize non- moving stocks & ensure timely liquidation of slow moving stocks
- To ensure FIFO method to be followed in all warehouses.
- RUN MCPC(ABC) analysis for stocks & ensure the correct masters to be updated in SAP
- Creating & posting documents for GAP during stock Verification
- Responsible for stock transfers between the plants
- Download PR & Places PO in SAP to intercompany & local vendors
- Good coordination within the team & cross teams such as Finance, CRM, Sales etc
- Hands on experience on SAP PP & MM, fluency in running reports in SAP & makes MIS for management.
- Good Knowledge of SAP masters PP & MM can help in resolving the day to day problem in SAP.
Purchasing/Sourcing Responsibilities
- Procurement of local electrical and mechanical machining parts.
- On-time purchase & follow-up in order to meet the requirements for both of production and inventory control.
- RFQ & Contracts
- Vendor developments & sourcing the right material, right quality, right time on right price.
- Work closely with sourcing team and global procurement team to solve the material shortage issue.
- Negotiating supplier agreements & contracts.
- Ensure all local items are supplied within the quality specs & within the defined SLA with vendor.
- Follow up with the vendors for timely supplies.
- Tracking Supplier performance matrix as per global standards.
Education/Experience
- Diploma in Mechanical + 6-8 years of experience or BE with 4-5 years
Knowledge
- Knowledge for Procurement, Production Planning, Vendor development.
- Hands on experience on SAP PP & MM, fluency in running reports in SAP & makes MIS for management.
