🎯 Role Summary

As a Trainee – Product Management, you will support our GBTS Product Management team in the Automotive Aftermarket business unit, ensuring efficient and timely execution of key product management tasks.

This role involves market research, product portfolio management, data analysis, and technical documentation, playing a crucial role in our aftermarket product development process.

🔹 Key Responsibilities:

🔹 Product Development & Market Research

• Support the GBTS Product Management team in product development & inclusion processes.
• Conduct market research, benchmarking, and competitor analysis.
• Collect and analyze product & application data for portfolio decisions.
• Obtain automotive parts from the market for research and product releases.

🔹 Project Execution & Process Management

• Follow defined processes, manuals, and SLA (Service Level Agreements).
• Ensure on-time delivery of tasks and maintain a high level of data quality.
• Maintain regular communication with internal teams and keep stakeholders updated.
• Report project delays or issues proactively to the team lead.

🔹 Technical & Database Management

• Maintain and update internal & external catalog systems with product data.
• Generate product reports, including cross-referencing and vehicle-in-operation (VIO) information.
• Prepare technical presentations and documents for internal/external use.
• Support 5S and Continuous Improvement activities.

🔹 Product Portfolio Support

• Assist in portfolio evaluations, market coverage studies, and gap analysis.
• Create marketing materials (flyers, information leaflets) to communicate new/obsolete product types.
• Provide technical documentation for sales and marketing teams.

🔹 Required Skills & Competencies:

✅ Strong analytical & research skills – Ability to conduct market analysis and competitor benchmarking.
✅ Technical knowledge – Understanding of automotive components, filtration products, and aftermarket industry.
✅ Process-oriented mindset – Ability to follow structured workflows and execute tasks independently.
✅ MS Office Proficiency – Strong skills in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint for data management and reporting.
✅ Communication & Presentation Skills – Clear and professional communication with internal teams & stakeholders.
✅ Problem-solving ability – Solution-oriented thinking and adaptability to challenges.
✅ Proactive Approach – Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a dynamic environment.
✅ Willingness to Travel – Open to on-field market research and international travel if required.
