Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- To chalk out product feasibility from Simultaneous engineering for vehicle assembly.
- To prepare a budget as per the instructions and guidance of seniors
- Stage-by-stage process planning for complete vehicle assembly.
- Preparation of Process sheets and DCP documents.
- Simultaneous engineering & Virtual simulation using software like 3D Experience, Catia, etc
- Front loading of data with the R&D team and getting in implemented. Lessons learned of old projects & Must & Wanted sharing with Engg. team and tracking for getting it implemented.
- To meet the project deadline of dies planning and execution as per the project
- First-time right process planning and product feasibility
Preferred Industries – Automobile, Automotive Industry
Education Qualification
- Degree ( Mechanical / Automobile/production) , Preferred – Degree Engineer with relevant experience in Assembly line.
General Experience
2-9 years
Critical Experience
- Well-versed with process and Fixture, tools and Gauges Planning
- Vehicle assembly process knowledge.
- Expertise in the usage of Software like Catia, 3D Experience, team center, Auto cad etc.
- Skilled and able to do process Documentation – Process Sheet development and modification
- Exposure to DCP documents like PFMEA, Control Plans, etc
- Knowledge of trends in New technology.
- Knowledge of the selection of torque tools for the assembly line.
- Has knowledge of logistics i.e. line side storage & packaging standards
- Good exposure to Installation and commissioning of fixtures & small tools.
- Good knowledge of problem-solving.
- Station layout preparation.
Senior Engineer – PTD Mechanical Development
