Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Should have a clear understanding of the internal combustion engine and its subsystems
Should have hands-on experience with 3D CAD software like UG NX ( preferred)
Adequate knowledge in CAE related to the internal combustion engine
Adequate Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM, and DFS
Should have sufficient knowledge in detailing, tolerance stack-up and GD&T
BOM preparation and maintenance
Need to have casting and machining process knowledge
Ability to interact with the development team and the supplier for component development
Versatile in working with support system teams and addressing the integration-related concerns
Ability to resolve vehicle-level integration concerns
Ability to address the manufacturing and build issues with the supplier and the plant team
Time Management for self & CFT for on-time delivery of the project

Experience

2 to 5 Years

Industry Preferred

Graduate/PG Engineer (Mechanical or related streams). Diploma Engineers can also be considered based on an interview.

Qualifications

BE, ME ( Mechanical & Automobile )

General Requirements

Ability to plan an activity and do the work to align the project timeline
Flexibility to adapt to the new work and accept the changes
Think alternatively to address to concern
Interact with internal teams and suppliers for component development and build issues.
Open to travel based on project need.
Candidates who are likely to stay on for the long term are preferred.
Please ensure CTC is at ~ mid of the band.
Component design and development
3D CAD software like UG NX and CATIA
Part detailing, tolerance stack up, and GD&T
Knowledge in DFMEA, DFC, DFM, and DFS
Documentation and presentation preparation for Audit
Interaction with Component development team & supplier for part development.
Coordination with CAE for providing inputs for the simulation.
Root Cause Analysis and Preparation of 8D Reports
Travel – 50%
