Job Profile /Specific desirable experiences/Preferred knowledge areas:

  • Creation of Manufacturing SAP BOM as per R&D Inputs and supplies conditions.
  • Ensure the completion of costing before to schedule the vehicle by co-ordinating and resolving the issues with concern agency.
  • Updation of required model data of scheduling, Sequencing and Build sheet data to MES.
  • Physical verification of the SAP BOM for its correctness.
  • Static build of new variant (as per requirement) for BOM correctness before productionised the model.
  • Timely updating of the Engineering changes to Manufacturing SAP BOM as per implementation.
  • Month wise analysis of forceful movement (261/262) and take require actions to reduce the forceful values.
  • Ensure no vehicle declaration pending due to BOM Error.
  • Drive ‘Part-Process Matrix’ concept to shop floor.
  • Implementation of MBOM system through TcUA.
  • Initiate and implement the Process Improvements on shop floor.
  • Initiate and implement the cost savings and standardization proposals.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualification – D.M.E / B.E – Mechanical / Production / Industrial
  • Experience – 2 to 5 Yrs
  • Process / Industrial Engineering experience (Preferable)

Critical Skills Sets (if any)

  • Knowledge of Vehicle Systems and its related parts
  • Knowledge Business processes ( Especially material transactions and its flow)
  • Knowledge of SAP PP Module, TcENT and TcUA.

Position – Assistant Manager – Vehicle Design (R&D – MTWD)

Essential :

  • Diploma/Graduate/ Post Graduate in Mech/Automotive engg from reputed institute
  • Clarity of engineering fundamental concepts
  • Understanding of Mechanical Design / Computer Aided Engineering processes
  • Experience: 4+ years of experience

Responsibilities:

  • Must have strong knowledge of sheet metal part design for structural components as well as plastic part design.
  • Expert in 3D modeling and drafting in Unigraphics NX

  • Should be able to make concept design in Casting / forging/ sheet metal parts

Job Purpose

  • To work on improving the quality of bought out components by doing incoming inspection of supplier parts and provide the solution for problem reported from internal and external customers

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

  • Incoming inspection of welding and sheet metal parts, root cause analysis of their defects to overcome Quality issues.
  • Attend assembly line issues and support to resolve Quality issues related to incoming parts
  • Reporting of non- conformities to the suppliers on regular basis and follow-up with supplier for corrective & preventive actions implementation through document s (SCAPA or 8D Report) on Quality issues reported at receipt, Line & from the customer end.
  • Improves supplier rejection PPM
  • Identify high rejection and rework parts and perform the root cause analysis
  • Monitoring the effectiveness of corrective actions taken at supplier end by reviewing the results in next lot
  • Invite & Co-ordinate meeting with critical suppliers for parts Quality improvement drives
  • Interact with supplier for analysis and Corrective actions on Quality issues reported by MQA & CQA.
  • Implement Improvement projects at Suppliers’ end, for improving supplier quality

  • Estimate the risks associated with product development; enable and coordinate reclamation campaigns; manage technically product liability
  • Drive customer quality improvements function along with Customer Care
  • Monitoring product performance trends in the field through Warranty RPH & FCR data from customer care
  • Reduction in RPH, FCR & warranty cost by timely resolution of all the warranty quality problems
  • Track the Product performance in the field through Warranty data & lead the product Quality improvement Committee/ Teams ‘PQC’ for international operation.
  • Prioritization of warranty complaints using Quality tools & techniques
  • Co-ordinate with all the internal process owner & formation & facilitation of cross functional teams for analyzing & categorizing warranty complaints
  • Co-ordinate with supplier, PD, Sourcing & CQA for improving the production reliability by initiation the corrective & preventing action for identify projects from Warranty
  • Corrective & Preventive actions implementation through CFT approach
  • Conduct periodic meeting, Co-ordinate & follow-up will all the stake holder for early resolution of the quality problems reported from the customer end
  • Ensure compliance to customer specific requirement in co-ordination with all stake holders
  • Support Marketing & Customer care in customer satisfaction surveys & improve the product performance & CSI by improving on CSI findings
  • Tracking effectiveness of solutions implemented for sustenance of actions & present the status to top management in the meetings
  • Support in new product development activities, monitor & track the performance of new product development
  • To maintain failure mode directory in the form of Things gone right (TGR) and Things gone wrong (TGW)
  • Ensure deployment of failure mode directory in new product development through Quality Techniques like DFMEA, PFMEA, DFM, QFD, DOE etc.
