Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Commodity: DAC

  1. Will be responsible for resolving field concerns
  2. Will be responsible for resolving internal concerns
  3. Data analysis
  4. Daily monitoring of field complaints & effectivity of actions
  5. Reduction in field concerns by correct root cause analysis & speedy implementation of corrective measure to meet organisation targets
  6. Genearte Field concern MIS & publish report, PPT for higher management
  7. Carry out joint investigations in field to arrive at root cause
  8. Take appropriate actions in association with manufacturing, supplier quality & design & for closure of field & internal concerns
  9. Speedy & time bound closure of emerging concerns & immobilisation concerns
  10. Estabish root cause for agreegate replacements in field & reduction in same.
  11. Implementing, improving & maintaining DWM in department.
  12. Initiating & implementing projects for improving engine reliability & durability.
Experience
  • DME – 8 ~ 10 Years / BE – 3 ~ 6 Yrs
Industry Preferred – Automotive – Engine Manufacturing

  • B.E / DME
General Requirements
  1. Product Knowledge
  2. Systematic root cause analysis of Failures by QC story approach , 8D methodology Should be able to demonstrate problem solving ability using problem solving tools.
  3. Conversant with shinin DOE technique, preparation of Fault Tree for Analysis,Ishikawa diagram, statistical tools
  4. Knowledge of Basic 7 QC & Advance QC Tools.
  5. Understanding of engineering drawings, process flow diagrams, control plans etc.
  6. Hands on experience of engine assembly, dismantling & fault detection & root cause analysis of failures.
  7. Good understanding of drawings, GD & T symbols, knowledge of fits & surface finish symbols.
  8. Able to carry out basic inspection of parts using micrometer, dial gauges & inspection tools & able to interpret inspection reports to diagnose failures root cause
  9. Good at data management & interpretation of data to draw meaningful conclusions
  10. Willing to work with own hands
  11. Willing to travel across country at short notice for joint investigations
  12. Good at Excel & Power point presentations.
  13. Auditing skills will be added advantage.

  • Quality assurance – build Quality in processes through PFMEA, Mistake proofing, SPC, CAPA, etc. for FTR, ETR and DCE.
  • Resolution of critical and chronic Quality issues.
  • Process planning for changes in existing products (including CRE) and support productionisation of new products.
  • Capex budgeting to improve PQCDS by replacement /addition of equipment with appropriate technology.
  • Monitor and control implementation of planned Capex from need justification till commissioning of equipment and MOP achievement.
  • Productivity improvement – Manpower optimisation and capacity enhancement.
  • Lean manufacturing (Lead time reduction, VAR improvement.
  • implementation of TPM initiatives.
  • Innovations, Continuous improvement, Problem solving.
  • TQM – Ensure adherence and improvement in Quality systems – PPAP, Process Mapping and Process flow, control Plan, SOP, etc.
  • Cost saving through improvement projects

Education Qualification
  • Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical; Bachelor of Engineering in Production; Bachelor of Engineering
General Experience

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
JOB DESCRIPTION and RESPONSIBILITY:-
  1. Provide support to various project teams for Business Case, Planning, Budgeting, and Project and Target costing.
  2. Performance analysis, tracking and progress monitoring of different projects.
  3. Continuous support to project teams across locations to achieve time, cost and performance targets.
  4. Help team leader/ key members in project planning with the involvement of all stakeholders.
  5. Help Project Heads to identify critical path activities and develop risk mitigation plans
  6. Work towards de – bottlenecking issues and escalate unresolved issues at higher levels.
  7. Develop a periodic review calendar for the team and ensure the same.
  8. Help the team leader for top management reviews.
  9. Plan, budget and monitor resources.
  10. Support team leaders in evaluating project management processes periodically, identify gaps and draw up improvement plans.
  11. Develop database and systems to build MIS related to projects
  12. Coordination with internal and external agencies to eliminate bottlenecks and facilitate
KEY DELIVERABLES:-
  1. Planning, timely monitoring and periodic review of all projects across location
  2. Accuracy in budgeting
  3. Reduction in bottleneck issues w.r.t. time, cost and gateways
  4. Performance analysis leading to identification of failure/ deviation mode and taking preventive and corrective actions
  5. Providing support through analysis, reviews and coordination to projects teams to achieve set targets
