Responsibilities:
- Develop and design HEV/EV lithium-ion battery packs, including conceptualization and layout.
- Understand the electrical architecture and technical details of Battery Management Systems (BMS) and BEV layouts.
- Manage control algorithms for battery optimization, safety, and energy calculations.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 26262 for BMS and perform DFMEA.
- Coordinate with design departments and suppliers for development activities.
- Conduct functional testing and system/component benchmarking.
- Calibrate using tools like INCA and Vector, with knowledge of vehicle systems and E&E aggregates.
- Validate battery and E-drive components through comprehensive test cases.
Experience: Freshers to 5 years
Qualifications: BE, ME in Electrical, Automobile, or Mechanical Engineering
General Requirements:
- Strong understanding of lithium-ion battery technology and integration in electric vehicles.
- Experience in designing, testing, and calibrating Li-ion battery packs and BMS.
- Knowledge of safety and test standards for lithium-ion batteries and E-drive components.
- Proficiency in BMS core functions calibration and understanding of lithium-ion cells.
