Job description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Test Planning and Execution:
- Develop detailed test plans and procedures based on vehicle validation requirements
- Conduct a range of vehicle tests including durability, performance, safety, IQA, and environmental tests
- Utilize specialized testing equipment and software for accurate data collection and analysis
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Collect and analyze test data to evaluate vehicle performance and identify any issues
- Use statistical and analytical tools to interpret test results and generate comprehensive reports
- Provide feedback and recommendations for design improvements based on test findings
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare detailed test reports documenting test methods, results, and any deviations from expected performance
- Good knowledge of interpreting DFMEA & its linkage to DVP
- Must have knowledge of compliance standards like IS, and AIS. At least for all basic trials like brake, steering, driveline performance, etc
Experience
- Minimum of 3-6 years of experience in vehicle testing.
- Hands-on experience with vehicle testing equipment and methodologies
Industry Preferred
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering/ Automotive Engineering

Physical Requirements: Ability to work in a test lab environment and perform physical tasks as needed; Travel to testing facilities and supplier sites.
