Job description

Key Thrust Areas/ Job Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of press and weld tools, jig and fixtures gauges.
• Knowledge about the design and assemblies of the press tolls and welding jig fixtures and gauges.
• Good understanding of tool construction and corrective repair recommendation.
• Understanding engineering data, CMM report, Inspection, and correction of tools and fixtures.
• Planning and execution of tool preventive maintenance plan.
• Metal Surface finishing Process optimization with different grit applications.
• Polishing and shining of aluminum components.
• Application knowledge of different types of Polishing & Buffing methodology and implementation
• Training and Motivating the operators for improvement activities (5S, Kaizen, defect reduction, etc)
• Coordinate with concern section and departments to reduce defects and line stoppage
• Capability to handle the independent shift.
• Manpower planning and allocation to desired working stages.
• Robotic welding knowledge i.e teaching, programming of Yasikawa & Panasonic Robot.
• Knowledge of Resistance welding, Seam Welding, MIG/TIG Welding application.
• Adherence of SOP
