Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Planning of Process, Layout & Logistics.
- Ensuring zero defect, on-time delivery, Troubleshooting & improvements – First time right.
- Process automation concept development & implementation.
- Plant layout & Process layout design with industrial standards.
- APQP & PPAP documents (PFC, PFMEA, CP, DFMEA, MFMEA, DAP) – preparation / Updation.
- Ensure BOM validation with the Process Team, PDRDS team, and on-time ER implementation.
- Regular interaction with stakeholders for smooth implementation & handover.
- Regular interaction with suppliers to ensure on-time receipt of equipment.
- Preparation of RFQ, scope of supply, technical finalisation, including occupational safety, and new assembly line.
- Ensure trial parts availability for acceptance & prove-out trials.
- Ensure all safety during the installation of equipment.
- Ensuring smooth production of new products & applicable quality standards as per plan.
- Ensure active participation of employees in QC stories, OIT, CIT, Kaizens, etc, and Cost innovations.
- Ensure 100% handing over of documents/drawings to the plant engg team.
- Handing over of all consumables with the Mahindra part no & with updated drawings/specifications.

Education Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile
- Bachelors of Technology in Mechanical / Automobile
- Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile
General Experience
- 1 to 7 years of experience in Manufacturing Assembly / Production line, Powertrain.
- The experience in process knowledge, assembly, fixture design, and manufacturing strategy will be invaluable in driving efficiencies and innovation within the automotive industry.
Critical Experience
- Hands-on experience in planning of new Engine assly lines
- Well conversant with the engine assly process of Diesel & Gasoline engine
- Knowledge of Engine rework strategy & facility planning
- Knowledge of IPVs, torque tools, Pokayoke
- Knowledge on line balancing
- Hands-on experience of assly tool & fixture design
- Knowledge of APQP documentation
- Hands on experience on CAD, MS office, SAP
- Exposure kit planning at assly area
- Basic knowledge of electronic controls
