Job description
Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
- Preparation of layouts for green field or brown field projects for capacity requirements of the Paint shop
- Prepare PLC, Electrical architecture & network requirements for process layout & for aggregate parts
- Create RFQs, project charter & documentation, suppliers and stakeholder sign-offs
- Preparation of project timelines in Micro Soft projects, able to identify breakeven, and bottleneck points, suggest & implementation solutions for the issue without affecting the schedule
- Detailing of various electrical & control networks, systems, Industry 4.0 with latest designs, expertise in control systems for processes like PTCED, Ovens, Air supply units, Paint booths, Paint & sealer distribution with know-how of control parameters required for the same for quality output for the product, knowledge of sealing & painting robots
- Detailed understanding of PLC. various networks, utilities, and electrical drawings for interface with process layouts
- New product planning – FTG (Facility, tools, gauges & fixtures) related to controls & electrical systems, shop utilities – budget workout, procurement & implementation with innovative solutions
- Prepare & support new equipment and refurbishment activities- Installation, Commissioning and Handover to mfg. team with proper documentation
- Benchmarking of paint shop processes & automation for energy efficiency & footprint reduction
- Workout capital & revenue budget requirements as per new product/platform requirements & other improvement/facility projects
- Benchmark energy consumption – Power, gas & water with various auto OEM/s & take initiative to rescue the same
- Preparation of DCP documentation – PFMEA, MFMEA, DCP, Quality system
Preferred Industries – Auto/Spares, Auto Components, Automobile, Automotive Industry
Education Qualification
- Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile
- Diploma in Engineering in Mechanical / Automobile
General Experience
- 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in Automation and Paint Technology.
