Job description
Roles and Responsibilities
- Ensure 100% Production as per cycle time.
- Ensuring the Labour Efficiency as 100% & OEE as 95%.
- Improve the productivity.
- Labour cost saving as per business plan.
- Ensure production, based on customer requirement and material availability.
- Ensuring producers are working as per work instructions, setup sheet and PY without any violation.
- Skill matrix, setup, CLRI check sheet verification and monitoring work observation sheet for all producers.
- Monitoring & Updating of WIP stock through SAP.
- Ensure all Work orders should be closed on daily basis.
- Capable to reduce scraps in the assembly line, Plastic injection molding process by proper analyzing method.
- Solve & Analyze Process related issues towards QC way of approach.
- Ensure & achieve productivity towards ECRS method.
- Ensure & work out Change over towards SMED concept.
- Ensure & Work out KANBAN activities.
- Ensuring zero PPM in all the programs.
- Capability in focusing customer requirements and customer related complaints.
- Prepare – Daily Top 5 meeting report regarding production plan vs actual & breakdown data.
- Prepare – Weekly plan vs actual, MRM and Monthly plant meeting datas.
- Attend – LRR for new program and involving in the new program and learn on proactive basis.
- Ensure Annual evaluation of all shop floor employees and record to be submitted to HR.
- Need to Coordinate with MAFACT & work towards World-class manufacturing.
- Ensure 100% safety & discipline in operators on daily basis.
- Ensure to maintain and sustain 5S in shop floor.
- Escalating the workers concerns to the management and follow up to solve the issue
- Must be team-building capabilities in production area & maintaining good relationship.
- Skill in develop, train and retain capability of new producers.
- Skill in develop & train producers at critical stages (CTQ).
- Maintain – and ensuring the training is given to the producers on regular basis.
- Training, Promote & Workout for New employees from CL to FTE & FTE to MCAPL role.
- Promote team leaders to next level to improve the standards.
- Participate and workout for flawless launch of new plant shifting & relocation to start the production.
- Improve the upcoming SAP R3 and MES in lines and teach the people to run it on smoother
Desired Candidate Profile
- Capable to handle at least 60 persons in a shift.
- Willing to work in 3 shift basis * 6 days pattern.
- Having the capability of increasing Productivity.
- Must having experience in resistance welding, Soldering, Plastic injection molding, Zinc die casting fields and automotive assembly areas.
- Knowledge in TPM activities.
- Work experience in Lean manufacturing concepts.
- Having experience in Kanban activities.
- Having good experience in Solving & Analyzing production process failures towards QC way of approach.
- Having knowledge & Experience in solving production machineries in mechanical, electrical scope
- Working knowledge in planning activities.
- Capable of doing and good working knowledge in XL & Word document files.
- Working experience in SAP R3 / MES Level.
Education – BE/ BTech in Mechanical
