As a Design Engineer, you will support engineering activities derived through L3 contract / special project and defined through the configurator. This will include the design & development of new features, validation by supporting prototypes and testing. You will bring your professional expertise and knowledge in all aspects of MV / LV Switchgear.
Key Accountabilities:
- To prepare a micro plan and execute the allocated design activities within a specified timeline.
- Follow design processes developed by the Lucy engineering team and issue drawings, bill of material using the Lucy CAD system.
- To design part and assembly keeping cost to a minimum and without compromising the quality.
- Participate in building the prototypes to follow the internal/external testing schedules. Witness internal/external testing as required, both in India and abroad.
- To work in collaboration with the NPD team to execute the engineering activities.
- Preparing design documentation.
Minimum Education: – Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical / Mechanical with MV/LV switchgear background
Minimum Experience: 1 to 4 years of experience
Job-Specific Skills: Understanding of switchgear products & their applications, 3D-CAD experience, Basic engineering design, Basics of electrical schemes, Brief knowledge of prototyping & switchgear product standards, and Basics of problem-solving.
Behavioral Competencies: Positive attitude, Developing and maintaining effective relationships with internal & external stakeholders, good communication skills.
