Job Purpose

The scope of the role is to provide engineering solutions with excellent technical understanding and minimal supervision. Responsibilities include ability to execute project related tasks, being adaptable and flexible to dynamic changes in project, self-awareness on process and tools and quality compliance

Principal Accountabilities (A)
Technical Management
Understanding requirements
Accountable to understand the technical requirements and carryout the project related activities as per project specification and checklists
Tool /Engineering design – awareness and knowledge
Ensures to have awareness of standards, both international/local as well as those required by the customer
Technical solution generation
Accountable for timely reporting and submission of error free deliverables within assigned time and effort estimated/planned
Responsible to proactively pre-empt what is required and ask for help/information from supervisor to ensure delivery of solution as expected
Skill development and contribution
Responsible to provide inputs for improvement in productivity, upgrade team technical skills and by imparting training/sharing knowledge with the team.  Assess alternative solutions/equipment selection with in the budget
Responsible to proactively upgrade domain knowledge, technical skills as needed by the project

Responsible to understand the estimated efforts as per the project requirements and meeting the project milestones
Accountable to efficiently handle assigned activities with minimum supervision as per the given schedule. Responsible to report the progress of the project to the Line Manager as per the plan

1) Basic Knowledge of Electrical & control, switchgear Products 
2) Product catalog knowledge, part verification
3) Identification of part mounting, layout, Structures, Sheet metal back panel mounting
4)  Should be able to Identify drawing formats, .step files
6) Create 2D drawings of components 
6) Hands on Experience in creating 3D models in CREO and Solidworks 
7) Hands on experience in conversion of drawings from 2D to 3D format
8) Should able to download & upload the drawings in SAP
