Design Engineering: Heat Transfer Equipment (0724 DES)
Should have knowledge of heat transfer equipment, ASME code Sec VIII Div1 &2, Sec II, API 660, API 934, TEMA, etc. Should have hands-on experience in the mechanical design of static equipment like shell & tube type of heat exchangers including screw plug/high-pressure exchangers, urea exchangers etc. Using PV-Elite, Compress or Nozzle Pro. Role and responsibility include contractual specification study, mechanical design, detail engineering, material purchase requirement, drawing checking & liaising for client approval.

Should have experience in Static equipment design of pressure vessels for Refineries, Oil & Gas equipment, etc. Knowledge & Experience in Engg Software( PV-Elite), ASME Codes (Sec VIII Div.1 & 2), PMC/Licensors/EPC Specification & Industrial Standards (i.e. API, NACE, etc). Experience in preparation & checking of mechanical design calculation, fabrication drawing, ARMS (Material Technical specification), co-ordination with client/Al for document approval.

Should have Proficiency in a pressure vessel (Loop Reactor, Column, Filter vessel, etc.). Must have Design as per Sec-VIII Div-1 and 2 using software like Pv-elite, Nozzle Pro, and Ansys. Should have experience and good understanding of FEA report review. Should be good in oral and written communication. Able to work in project groups.
