Job Description
The candidate shall be with hands on experience in Subsea Pipeline Design. He / She shall be conversant with all relevant international codes and standards, such as DNV 1981, DNV GL ST F101, BS 8010, API, and ASME. The candidate shall be familiar with the design procedures for Pipeline Wall Thickness Design, Pipeline Lateral / Vertical Stability Design, Pipeline Expansion Analysis, Pipeline Span Analysis, Riser stress and Flexibility Analysis, and Tie-in Spool Design. He / She Shall also be conversant with the design spreadsheets and software packages used for the design of subsea pipeline design.
- He / She shall also be skilled to use stress analysis software such as CAESAR-II and AUTOPIPE.
- The candidate shall be acquainted with the various technical specifications applicable for subsea items.
- Experience with FEM packages, ANSYS and ABAQUS will be considered as an added advantage.
