Job Description
Mandatory Skills :
- Knowledge of mechanical and structural design
- Concept design, 3D modeling, and Drawing using Solidedge or any reputed CAD platforms
- Structural FEA simulation using NX or similar software
- Knowledge of design and development of special purpose machines, Jigs & fixtures
- Knowledge of different types of welding and other fabrication processes
- Good communication and interpersonal & leadership skills, Innovative mindset, time management and project planning/execution skills, and basics of estimation and costing
Preferable skills
- Knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes like 3D printing, high-speed welding, etc.
- Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
- Design Thinking
- Understanding of GD&T and know-how on material standards and standard mechanical components
- Vendor development and coordination with the vendor for technical assessment & development including legal aspects like IP protection etc.
- Ability to Troubleshoot problems in challenging Shopfloor environments.
- Know-how on AI/ML/AR/VR/RPA/API/IOT and basics of Data science g / execution skills
