Description

• Experienced in static equipment engineering in the EPC business dealing with Pressure Vessels, columns, etc.
• Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and efficiently. 
• Conversant with Static Equipment Technical Specifications, Mechanical Data Sheets, and experienced in the application of Codes and Standards like ASME Section VIII, Div.1 & Div.2, ASME Sec-I, Sec II, etc.
• Having hands-on experience with analysis software like PV-Elite, STAAD Pro, and AutoCAD, and able to perform spreadsheet calculations based on codes and standards.
• Fully conversant with generating, and checking fabrication engineering deliverables, and MTOs, and ensuring that, department/project KPIs are stringently met.
• Able to perform miscellaneous designs like lifting trunnion design, Tailing lug design, tailing beam design, Saddle design calculation for transportation, hydro test analysis, PWHT, etc
• Understanding of material properties, and heat treatment processes to prepare TDC for material procurement. Able to compile design reports for the Pressure Vessel using engineering software/spreadsheets / manual calculations as required.
• Coordination with outsourcing agencies, resolution of queries, and managing change with other disciplines, vendors, and clients.
• Strong interpersonal and English communication skills – verbal and written. Coordination with certification agencies like ASME, and regulatory bodies (IBR, PESO, etc) for obtaining necessary engineering approvals.
• Ability to use sound Judgement to anticipate potential implications and keep the Lead engineer abreast about the project status. 
• Maintains accurate and complete records, and project-specific documentation to ensure that projects move forward efficiently.
• Ability to lead initiatives to improve quality, and productivity related to fabrication engineering.
