Position: Industrial Coating Supervisor

Required Skills

• Knowledge of surface preparation and industrial coating processes.
• Expertise in paint application methods and painting standards, codes, and regulations.
• Understanding of welding methods.
• Familiarity with finishing processes (painting/coating).
• Proficiency in SAP and general computer operations (Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience in material handling, fabrication, and resource allocation.

Minimum Qualification

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering (DME).

Key Responsibilities

1. Painting & Coating Expertise:
   • Ensure compliance with painting standards, codes, and regulations.
   • Monitor environmental conditions to ensure proper paint application.
   • Conduct inspections for surface preparation and painting coats, with proper report preparation.
2. Supervision & Coordination:
   • Supervise workmen for efficient, timely job completion using allocated resources.
   • Coordinate activities across outsourcing, quality, production, and planning departments.
3. Problem Solving & Safety:
   • Troubleshoot issues related to painting and shot blasting.
   • Prioritize safety, quality (First-Time-Right), and 5S initiatives for housekeeping.
4. Technical Contribution:
   • Apply expertise in surface preparation and painting techniques.
   • Ensure the proper use of resources for optimal performance in fabrication and material handling.

Preferred Competencies

• Experience in industrial coating and understanding of finishing processes like painting and coating.
• Strong analytical and organizational skills.
