Role Description

Technical sales engineers are a key point of contact for our customers and provide both pre and after-sales advice. As a sales engineer, you will be responsible for end to end sales cycle & business development through customer acquisition and building long term relationships with customers which ensures higher recall value. You’ll use your technical knowledge along with sales skills to provide advice and support on a range of LTCEL & Komatsu products. 

What you’ll be doing

  • Potential sales lead identification, who will benefit from company products or services and maximise customer’s potential in designated regions. 
  • Develop long-term relationships with customers, through managing and interpreting their requirements.
  • Persuade clients that our product or service best satisfies their needs in terms of quality, price, and delivery.
  • Negotiate contract agreement terms and conditions to meet both client and company needs.
  • Meet our existing customers and competition customers, financiers on regular basis to finalize our Komatsu and LTCEL Products as per our SOPS. 
  • Guide our dealer Sales Engineers for finalization and Product support.
  • Capture machine performance report and customer testimonials regularly. 
  • Make concerted efforts to achieve the budgeted equipment sales numbers every quarter.
  • Identify key customer in the area and ensure all necessary activities- sales, service, parts, training- are completed to nurture and strengthen the relationship.

Educational & Experience Requirements 

  • B.Tech/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering with 3-7 years of relevant experience in selling construction equipments like excavator, compactor, loaders etc. B.Sc graduates with relevant experience in construction equipment selling shall also be conspired.
