Minimum Qualification
- Bachelor of Technology (BTech)
Engineer shall be responsible for:
- Carry out the engineering tasks as per the engineering schedule as directed by the lead engineer.
- Provide feedback on the engineering progress to LE for his review and further planning.
- Adherence to L&T Howden standards, input on client’s requirements, work instruction, and other procedures by LE/EM
- Perform 3D modelling and create 2D design drawings, compiling Bill of materials, drawing modification, design change, SAP requirements, and all other associated drawing functions as instructed by the LE or EM
- Perform design calculations required for detailed engineering. Prepare of specification and customer documents.
- Perform manual creation, which includes instructions for erection, commissioning, operation, and maintenance of LTH equipment. Also compiling sub-supplier manuals as instructed by the LE or EM
- Conduct product tests and generate a report, as directed by EM
- Review the calculations, detail drawings, customer documents, and sub-contract vendor documents, along with LE
- Representing Engineering for meeting/technical discussion with customers and other LTH functional departments, as discussed by LE/EM.
- Assess repair work scopes and compile retrofit procedures with the approval of LE/EM to keep efficient aftermarket work.
- Assist LE in decision-making for the manufacturing non-conformance and rectification process.
- Ensure all the engineering input and output are routed through DC
- Assist LE in the manufacturing process, site erection, and carry out troubleshooting exercises if required
