Position – Hardware Designer

Job description
- Concept design, OEM Components selection, and development of mechanical parts and assemblies with minimal guidance.
- Create/ Modify CAD models and Understand the impact of top-level structure
- Create and modify engineering drawings bill of materials using Engineering Change Management process
- Interacts with India and US-based Mechanical Engineering Managers of different Lam Product Groups regarding Design activities
- Provide immediate response and timely resolution to design-related production issues during the build process
- Support Participate in Design review to get buy-in from all cross-functional teams
- Investigate and Implement corrective actions for medium/complex Problem Reports
Qualification & Skills
- Years of experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience with B.E/B.Tech or 8 years for Diploma
- Educational Qualification: B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing) or Diploma from NTTF/GTTC
- Design of sheet metal parts, machine components, etc.
- Design and Selection of OEM Mechanical Component? PEMs, Weld Fittings, other fasteners, etc.
- Knowledge in the Manufacturing process? Sheetmetal Designs, Machining, and Welding, etc
- Knowledge in ANSI/ASME standards and tolerance stack-up Analysis
- Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Proficient in 3D Modelling, Assembly, and Detailing using Creo (Pro-E) or any CAD packages.
- Proficient in PLM PDM Software (Preferred Teamcenter and SAP)
- Knowledge in Engineering Change Management Process
- Experience in various fabrication methods (Sheetmetal Machining)
- Knowledge on Semiconductor equipment and its subsystems
- Knowledge of DFX
- Experience in using AutoCAD for schematic diagrams (PIDs)
