Engineer – Listing Mechanical

Location: Chennai

Educational Qualification:

• B.E. (Mechanical)

Experience:

• Minimum of 2 years in BOM creation
• Preferred: Candidates with a design background
• AutoCAD proficiency is mandatory
• Knowledge of CREO or SolidWorks is an added advantage

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Analysis & Solution Development:
  Analyze technical requirements, identify possible solutions, and select the optimal product/solution that meets customer needs. Design components to meet customer-specific requirements, ensuring solutions are installable, maintainable, manufacturable, and sustainable.
• Engineering Outputs:
  Create drawings, engineering structures, and other relevant outputs for the chosen solutions. Perform self-checks on work outputs and contribute to reviewing colleagues’ outputs.
• Cost Consideration:
  Understand cost levels of different components and solutions, using this knowledge in designs.
• Stakeholder Engagement:
  Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to clarify unclear requirements, communicate deviations from customer specifications, and ensure timely delivery of outputs.

General Responsibilities:

• Knowledge Sharing:
  Share knowledge and skills with colleagues, act as a local or global trainer, and contribute to development projects related to tools and processes.
• Support for R&D:
  Participate in Change Requests/Product Development processes, supporting R&D and other stakeholders when required.
