Job description
What You Will Do In Your Role
- Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, and manage detailed engineering phase till approved for fabrication drawings
- Assess purchase order technical requirements, and ensure proposed technical solutions meet or exceed the contract specifications and Company’s best practices
- Develop detailed engineering solutions to accommodate system requirements based on mass transfer efficiency and hydraulic operating capacity
- Define the structural design requirements for effective installation and support of the mass transfer equipment at the system operating conditions
- Develop internal specifications in the form of data sheets and sketches to convey key design parameters to the drafting department for each engineered-to-order project
- Participate in value engineering and development efforts to enhance standard design and manufacturing practices, and improve design tools
- Manage and prioritize deliverables of concurrent projects
- Communicate effectively and professionally
- Strong problem-solving aptitude with good decision-making skills
- Attention to detail and sense of urgency
The Experience You Will Bring
- Design calculation experience
- Mechanical calculation of equipment
- Handling structural calculations
- Experience in 3D Drafting, Inventor, Auto CAD, or similar
- Experience in the Strength of Material
- Knowledge of design codes and standards essential
Requirements:
- BE or ME with 2-5 years of experience in Design/Mechanical Engineering
- Relevant 2 – 5 and minimum 2 yrs in design
- General shift timings
What Will Put You Ahead
- Experience in Mass transfer product design
- Experience as a Design or Project Engineer in Oil & Gas business
- Experience in Engineering /Sheet metal / Pressure vessel / Fabrication industry
- Knowledge of fluid dynamics
- Experience in Static equipment design calculations
