ROLE TITLE: Researcher ( Design engineer & Analyst)
REPORTS TO: Ishant Jain LOCATION: Naigaon DATE: 29/12/2022
JOB PURPOSE: To have an NPD cum design expert who can analyze and validate all electromechanical, and structural calculations based in EN, IS & other standards. To have technical expertise and knowledge of FEA technologies to test the performance, durability, safety, and functionality of engineering solutions in a virtual environment, conduct analysis for static and dynamic system.
DIMENSIONS:
The main responsibility of the Sr. Design Engineer in NPD team is to manage the Design and Development projects independently to ensure the timely delivery of the high-quality designs and drawings in the field of Oli and Gas & transmission-distribution accessories
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- – To manage and lead the Design and Development projects assigned to you completely and independently
- – New product development – Conceptualization, analysis, development, and Validation
- – Electromechanical system design and analysis. Third Patry testing and characterization.
- – Design structures and Fluid Dynamics (CFD), such as Railways OHE, buildings etc.
- – Report preparation based on various electrical and mechanical standards
- – Mechanical calculation of static and dynamic systems, Non-linear analysis based in FEA
- – Coordination & communication with customers & stakeholders for all technical and legal documentation
- – Collaborate with stakeholders & project managers
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s (B-Tech)/ Master’s degree (M-Tech) in Mechanical/ thermal/ Structural Engineering from a reputed Institute with minimum 3 years of experience
Previous experience as an FEA Analyst/ CFD or similar field - Fair knowledge of FEA packages such as COMSOL, ANSYS
- Understanding TRIZ & DFSS will be an added advantage
- Hands-on experience with AutoCAD/ CATIA
- Data-driven mindset with excellent mathematical skills
- Technical report preparation, Attention to detail
- Dynamic & flexible, Customer-centric attitude
- Self-driven – able to work independently
- Strong technical acumen and application knowledge
- Understanding Gas meters and basic electronic/IoT will be an added advantage
