Job description

The incumbent will be responsible for the following listed activities:
  • Carrying out various piping activities and preparation of deliverables as identified in the Functional Competencies as necessary on their appointed project.
  • They are signing drawings and documents as originator in accordance with correct procedures.
  • Ensuring engineering and design quality, technical accuracy of drawings, material quantities, etc
  • Execution of assigned work in accordance with applicable contract procedures and client and project standards.
  • Adhering to the company’s engineering procedures for design safety and adopting safe attitudes towards engineering design and raising features affecting the safety and integrity of the project with appropriate authorities.
  • Correct implementation of all piping CAD and system-related functions in their appointed area.
  • BE (Mechanical) with 2-5 years of relevant experience or equivalent.
  • Familiarity with the functioning and requirements of piping and plant design groups, having main strength in at least one area of the piping design discipline.
  • Has worked with similar consulting companies or related industries on a project and/ has gained a solid foundation from a recognized industry on-job training course of at least two-year duration.
  • Has experience in assisting in producing common piping deliverables including; plot plans, isometrics, 3D models, and other basic drawings required for an engineering project.
